Warriors Fight Promotions returns to the Mermaid Event Center in Mounds View, MN on February 21st with another action packed night of kickboxing and muay thai fights.

As always, Bobby Anderson is giving fight fans the most exciting stand-up battles around and his February event is guaranteed to deliver as it features 3 exciting main events.

In the featured bout of the night, professional kickboxer and knockout superstar, T.J. Gibson returns to the ring making his Muay Thai debut. Gibson is 2-0 as a professional and is fresh off a dominating win over former KICK World Champion, Ronnie Copeland. Although Gibson's opponent has yet to be named, rest assured Gibson's gameplan will be to bring the heat and end the night early. As an amateur Gibson went 9-1 with 6 knockouts and caputed the IKF Amateur Heavyweight World Title.

Also featured that evening will be the IKF Super Middleweight MN State Kickboxing Title fight between Cellar Kickboxing's Derek Knudson and North Branch Kickboxing's Jamie Kottke. This fight will be a fan favorite as both fighters bring exceptional skill and polished technique to the ring.

Derek Knudson (3-0/1) is a 4th degree Black Belt under Vic Marotta and American Karate Studios. In 2006 Knudson won the middlewight divison at the KICK/WAKO National Kickboxing Tournament in Crystal Lake, IL. Although Knudson probably has some ring rust having not fought in over a year and a half, he's spent that time actively training at the Cellar Kickboxing Gym and polishing his boxing skills. He's ready to get back into the ring and put his newly acquired skills to the test.

His opponent, Jamie Kottke, trains under IKF World Champion, Heath Fonnest and also brings high level kicking and boxing to the ring. Kottke is also much more dangerous than his record of 2-2 shows; having faced the top fighters in the Midwest his two losses are to MN State Champion, Mitch Whiley and the always impressive Scott "Crazy Legs" Legus. When the dust settles who will walk away with the belt?

The third featured bout of the night matches two hard hitting MMA fighters together in a stand-up battle as North Branch's Gabe Wallbridge takes on Chicago, IL's Whitney Waddel in a professional kickboxing contest.

Tickets go on sale February 1st. Front row seats are available for $35 and general admission seats for $25.
