COLIN ANDERSON
0-0
???
???
175 lbs.
VS
CONLIN GAFFNEY
1-2
MN Martial Arts Academy
Minneapolis, MN
175 lbs.
This fight was an exhibition and a great way to set the night. Anderson was a last minute replacement and even thought it was an exhibition Anderson proved to be the stronger fighter. The crowd was very quiet until the second round when Anderson was landing great leg kicks and put down Gaffney down with them several times. To Gaffney’s credit he fought strong and persevered through the fight. Anderson is trained by Mr.Brian Campbell. and we are looking forward to up and coming fighters from Mr. Campbells camp. This was a great x-bout and we always look forward to Mn.Martial Arts Academys fighters; they have great trainers and very exciting fighters.

FIGHT #2
AMATEUR MUAY THAI - 3 ROUNDS
COLEMEN LANGHAM
1-1/1
New World Combat
Fort Worth, TX
155 lbs
VS
MATT HUNTER
3-0
Minneapolis Jiu Jitsu
Minneapolis, MN
155 lbs
In the first round Hunter came out very strong and busy, as all three judges score it 10-9 for Hunter. As the fight progressed Langham gained his poise and found his rhythm using basic fighting techniques to over power hunter for the next two rounds. Judges Campbell and Vanier called it 29-28 for Langham, while judge Anderson had it 29-28 for Hunter. Langham wins the split decision. This was Matt's first Muay Thai fight and the leg kicks seemed to change the way he fights. Langham came to fight and provailed, Texas fighters are very welled trained. Matt is undefeated as a kickboxer. Lets get him a Minnesota title shot.

FIGHT #3
MUAY THAI EXHIBITION BOUT - 2 ROUNDS
MARIO MARTINEZ
3-1
New World Combat
Fort Worth, TX
140 lbs.
VS
ADAM MORIN
1-0/1
Cellar Kickboxing
Blaine, MN
153 lbs.
These two young warriors came out swinging even though it was a scheduled exhibition bout. After the first round both fighters were cautioned to calm down and fight at a slower pace, hence an exhibition fight. As round two started Martinez found a second wind and was able to answer Morin’s effective leg kicks and hand combinations while landing some big punches. But Morin's size and experience was still very obvious and the decision was made to stop the fight after the second round.

FIGHT #4
AMATEUR INTERNATIONAL RULES - 3 ROUNDS
ADAM GILL
1-1
New World Combat
Fort Worth, TX
175 lbs
VS
JOSH KOKSMA
3-1
???
175 lbs.
“Stand and bang”, was the theme of this fight! Both fighters were throwing “hay makers” with crushing KO power. It was clear Koksma was looking to land one finishing blow. However, his excitement and over anxiousness was timed beautifully by Gill who baited Koksma to continue throwing his “hay makers” as he landed his own thunderous strikes. Gill's patience and poise paid big dividends as he won all three rounds unanimously.

FIGHT #5
SPECIAL ATTRACTION EXHIBITION
MUAY THAI VS. KICKBOXING - 5 ROUNDS
NICK WILKINSON
???
New World Combat
Fort Worth, TX
205 lbs.
VS
T.J. GIBSON
2-0/1 1 NC
Hibbing, MN
205 lbs.
This was a special attraction Muay Thai vs. Kickboxing exhibition Title fight. This was an interesting fight to watch as the two styles matched oddly. Gibson – Kickboxer, vs. Wilkinson – Thai fighter. It was clear Gibson needed a couple of rounds to figure out what was going on. Gibson was unaware that Thai fighters can catch kicks and strike back by kicking to the standing leg, as he was educated quickly. Gibson began delivering damaging leg kicks and huge over hand punches as Wilkinson tried to clinch and give out knee strikes. It was Gibson being the busier and dominate fighter who won a split decision and was crowned the Warriors Champion.

FIGHT #6
CO-MAIN EVENT
IKF MIDDLEWEIGHT U.S. TITLE

AMATEUR KICKBOXING - 5 ROUNDS
CALEB PLANT
23-5/12
Stone Warrior Fight Team
Ashland City, TN
165 lbs.
VS
SCOTT LEGUS
11-4-1/2
Bloomington Karate
Bloomington, MN
165 lbs.
WOW! Best fight of the night. On the line was the IKF Amateur U.S. Middle Weight Championship belt. From the beginning of the fight Plant had a confidence that was not going to be bested. He was ready, pumped, charged and anxious to get it on! As expected bother fighters tried to establish their dominance in the first round, yet, it was Plant that scored a hook kick to the face after several sharp quick side kicks to the body. The hook kick seamed to slow Legus down considerably (a technique he learned from Abraham Han). Not only were the kicks effective but several well placed punches found their mark as well. As the fight progressed, Plant’s confidence seemed to grow as he lowered his guard to bait Legus in and then landed uppercuts and hook punches, again and again, in the classic style of Sugar Ray Leonard. Legus was able to answer some of Plants advancing attacks with flashy spin kicks, that made a couple of rounds seem close, but with no effective power or authority. All three judges score the fight 50-45. It is Plants conditioning that makes him outstanding. He is on his way to making a name for him self. Congratulations - Celeb Plant the new IKF US Amateur Middle Weight Champion. Warriors Fight Promotions also hopes to one day promote Plant's IKF World Title shot.

FIGHT #7
MAIN EVENT
PRO MUAY THAI - 5 ROUNDS
GABE WALLBRIDGE
1-0/1
North Branch Kickboxing
North Branch, MN
170 lbs.
VS
DAVE MORIN
1-0
Cellar Kickboxing
Blaine, MN
170 lbs.
This fight promised to be a banger. Both fighters were evenly matched. First round both fighters landed good shots on each other but they were still feeling it out. At the end of the first round the judges were split, Campbell and Anderson scored 10-9 Morin and Vanier had it 10-9 Wallbridge. The second round was a repeat of the first, until late in the round, Wallbridge kicks Morin in the elbow and was notably hurt and limping. Morin found his moment and followed in with an advancing left knee strike to Wallbridge right side rib cage, puting Wallbridge down for the count. Wallbridge tried to recover, but it would seem that he suffered broken ribs from the blow. Referee Ralph Lee stopped the fight at 1:56 in the second round and Wallbridge needed medical assistance in the ring and back in the locker room.
